At Lonesome Duck Farm, we focus on specialty permanent crops including lavender, pecans, pawpaws, and persimmons.  These crops each bring their own challenges as they are not widely grown in Indiana, but with difficulty comes the opportunity to learn and provide unique crops to the local community.

We also grow annual crops including zinnias, sunflowers, calendulas, strawflowers, tomatoes, ground cherries, and okra.

Lee and Alison’s children (Finley, Paul Henry, and Anthe) are great helpers and appreciate the chance to learn about the business world that the Carmel Farmers Market provides them!
