Carmel Farmers Market

Support local farms, ranches, dairies and nurseries while having a wonderful time meeting people and enjoying the smell of the fresh morning air.

The Carmel Farmers Market (CFM), a growers-only market, is an exciting and bountiful place to buy your fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, eggs and plants.

When you shop at the CFM, you get the freshest, most delicious foods available from the growers themselves!

There are also plenty of prepared foods such as jams, salsas. And a plentiful assortment of dairy, farm products and honey, too.

Chef's demos, children's activities, and live local musicians make supporting local growers fun!

This website is dedicated to the memory of Jim Keckley, the first volunteer president of the Carmel Farmers Market committee. He was part of the committee since it started in 1999.  Jim was the best volunteer.  He was the first one to arrive to set up the market at 6:00 AM and usually the last to leave 6 hours later.  He is quoted as saying the committee was "The most fun "I've ever had on any committee, without exception." but it was his gentleness and kindness that helped make the committee so special.
