You can help the Market by spending a couple of Saturday mornings setting up and tearing down the Market and by greeting visitors to the Market.  The morning is split into two shifts of three hours each. Join us from 6:30AM to 9:30AM or from 9:30AM to 12:30.PM  As a Market volunteer you get the pleasure of knowing that you have helped provide the best farmers market, Saturday morning festival to your neighbors in Carmel and Clay Township.  HOW DO I VOLUNTEER? This website is dedicated to the memory of Jim Keckley, the first volunteer president of the Carmel Farmers Market committee. He was part of the committee since it started in 1999.  Jim was the best volunteer.  He was the first one to arrive to set up the market at 6:00 AM and usually the last to leave 6 hours later.  He is quoted as saying the committee was "The most fun "I've ever had on any committee, without exception." but it was his gentleness and kindness that helped make the committee so special.
